Ammar al-Sabati said: I (narrator) asked Abu Abdillah عليه السلام, peace be upon him, about ‘the cupper performing cupping while he is fasting.’ Imam عليه السلام said: “It is not appropriate.” And (Imam عليه السلام was asked) about ‘the fasting person undergoing cupping.’ Imam عليه السلام said: “There is no harm.”
