And from him, from Ali ibn Asbat, from Ala ibn Razin, from Muhammad ibn Muslim, who said: I (narrator) asked Abu Abdillah عليه السلام, peace be upon him, about ‘the fasting person, at which hour of the day may he use the tooth-stick (siwak)?’ Imam عليه السلام said: “Whenever he wishes.”
