Chapter on the Detailed Explanation of Prayer, Including the Obligatory and Recommended, and What is Permissible and Not Permissible.

Hadith #21

وَعَنْهُ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ يَحْيَى رَفَعَهُ عَنِ اَلرِّضَا عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ قَالَ:« اَلْإِمَامُ يَحْمِلُ أَوْهَامَ مَنْ خَلْفَهُ إِلاَّ تَكْبِيرَةَ اَلاِفْتِتَاحِ»

And from him, from Muhammad ibn Yahya, who transmitted it with an elevated chain from al-Ridha : (Imam ) said: "The imam (of prayer) bears the mistakes of those behind him, except for the Takbirat al-Iftitah (the opening Takbir)."
