Al-Husayn ibn Sa‘id from Fadalah from Husayn ibn Uthman from Ibn Muskan, and Muhammad ibn Sinan from Ibn Muskan from Sulayman ibn Khalid, who said: I asked Him عليه السلام what I should say when I lie on my right side after the two rak‘ahs of Fajr. Abu Abdillah عليه السلام, peace be upon him, said: "Recite the five verses at the end of Surah Al ‘Imran, until ‘'Indeed, You do not break the promise.'‘ (Surah Al-'Imran 3:190-194). Then say: I have held fast to the firm handhold of Allah سبحانه وتعالى which ‘never breaks’, and I have taken refuge with the strong rope of Allah سبحانه وتعالى. I seek refuge in Allah سبحانه وتعالى from the evil of the wicked among the Arabs and non-Arabs. I believe in Allah سبحانه وتعالى. I have placed my trust in Allah سبحانه وتعالى. I turn my back to Allah سبحانه وتعالى. I have entrusted my affair to Allah سبحانه وتعالى. And whoever relies upon Allah سبحانه وتعالى, then He سبحانه وتعالى is sufficient for him. Indeed, Allah سبحانه وتعالى will accomplish His سبحانه وتعالى purpose. Allah سبحانه وتعالى has set a measure for everything. Allah سبحانه وتعالى is sufficient for me, and He سبحانه وتعالى is the best disposer of affairs. O Allah سبحانه وتعالى, whoever begins his morning in need of the creation, then indeed my need and my longing is toward You سبحانه وتعالى. Praise be to the Lord سبحانه وتعالى of the morning! Praise be to the cleaver of the dawn!" (Repeat this three times).
