Ahmad ibn Muhammad from Ali ibn al-Hakam from Abdullah ibn Bukayr from Zurarah: Abu Ja’far عليه السلام, peace be upon him, said: “It is only required of one of you, when midnight has passed, to rise and perform his prayer all at once, thirteen rak‘ahs in total. Then, if he wishes, he may sit and supplicate, or if he wishes, he may sleep, or if he wishes, he may go wherever he wants.”
