Hadith #62

وَ عَنْهُ عَنْ صَفْوَانَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اَلرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ اَلْحَجَّاجِ عَنْ أَبِي اَلْحَسَنِ عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ قَالَ:« لَيْسَ عَلَى اَلْإِمَاءِ أَنْ يَتَقَنَّعْنَ فِي اَلصَّلاَةِ وَ لاَ يَنْبَغِي لِلْمَرْأَةِ أَنْ تُصَلِّيَ إِلاَّ فِي ثَوْبَيْنِ»

And from him, from Safwan, from Abdur-Rahman ibn al-Hajjaj: Abu al-Hasan , peace be upon him, said: "It is not obligatory for slave women to cover their heads in prayer, and it is not appropriate for a woman to pray except in two garments."
