Hadith #21
أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ سَعْدٍ اَلْأَشْعَرِيِّ قَالَ: سَأَلْتُهُ عَنِ اَلثَّوْبِ اَلْإِبْرِيسَمِ هَلْ يُصَلِّي فِيهِ اَلرِّجَالُ قَالَ« لاَ»
Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn Isa, from Isma‘il ibn Sa‘d al-Ash‘ari, who said:
I asked Him
عليه السلام
about a garment made of silk, can men pray in it? He said: "No."
