As for what was narrated by Ahmad bin Muhammad bin ‘Isa, from al-Barqi, from Sa‘d bin Sa‘d al-Ash‘ari, who said: (Imam) Al-Ridha عليه السلام, peace be upon him, said: "In the two prostrations of forgetfulness (‘sajdatay al-sahw’), if there was a deficiency (in the prayer), then they are before the ‘taslim’; and if there was an addition, then they are after it."
