Ali narrated from his father, from Al-Nawfali, from Al-Sakooni, from Abu Abdillah عليه السلام: Imam عليه السلام said: "The Prophet, may Allah’s سبحانه وتعالى blessings be upon him and his family, prohibited placing hanoot (perfumed substances) on the bier."
