Fadalah narrated from Al-Ala’, from Muhammad ibn Muslim, who narrated from Abu Ja'far عليه السلام: I asked Imam عليه السلام about a person in a state of major ritual impurity (junub) who has a wound and fears that water might harm him if it touches the wound. Imam عليه السلام said: "Then he should not wash it if he fears for his safety."
