Hadith #61

فَضَالَةُ عَنْ أَبَانٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اَلرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي عَبْدِ اَللَّهِ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اَللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ قَالَ قَالَ:« لاَ تَجْعَلْ فِي مَسَامِعِ اَلْمَيِّتِ حَنُوطاً».

Fadalah narrated from Aban, from ‘Abd al-Rahman ibn Abi ‘Abdillah, from Abu ‘Abdullah : Imam said: "Do not place the embalming mixture (Hanoot) in the ears of the deceased."
