2. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Ibn Abi ‘Umayr from Mu‘awiyah ibn ‘Ammar who has said the following: “I once asked abu ‘Abd Allah عليه السلام, if women can perform al-Hajj on behalf of men and men can perform al-Hajj on behalf of women. He (the Imam) said, ‘It is not harmful.’”
