Al-Kāfi - Volume 4 > The Case of One Who Forgets Throwing Pebbles or Is Ignorant
Hadith #5

5. A number of our people have narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from al-Husayn ibn Sa‘id from his brother al-Hassan from Zur’ah from Sanaa ‘ah who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah, ‘Alayhi al-Salam, disliked throwing pebbles during the night; but he gave permission to slaves and people tending camels to throw pebbles on al-Jamar during night.”
