9. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from Muhammad ibn ‘Isa from Yasin al-Darir from Hariz from those who narrated to him who has said the following:

“I once asked abu ‘ Abd Allah , ‘From where the pebbles must be taken?’ He (the Imam) said, ‘You must not take them from two places, from non-al-Haram (the sacred area) and from the pebble of al-Jamar. It is not harmful to take them from other parts of al-Haram (the sacred area).”’
