12- وَ بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ الْعَلَوِيِّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي طَرِيفٌ أَبُو نَصْرٍ قَالَ: دَخَلْتُ عَلَى صَاحِبِ الزَّمَانِ ع فَقَالَ عَلَيَّ بِالصَّنْدَلِ الْأَحْمَرِ فَأَتَيْتُهُ بِهِ ثُمَّ قَالَ أَ تَعْرِفُنِي قُلْتُ نَعَمْ فَقَالَ مَنْ أَنَا فَقُلْتُ أَنْتَ سَيِّدِي وَ ابْنُ سَيِّدِي فَقَالَ لَيْسَ عَنْ هَذَا سَأَلْتُكَ قَالَ طَرِيفٌ فَقُلْتُ جَعَلَنِيَ اللَّهُ فِدَاكَ فَبَيِّنْ لِي قَالَ أَنَا خَاتَمُ الْأَوْصِيَاءِ وَ بِي يَدْفَعُ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ الْبَلَاءَ عَنْ أَهْلِي وَ شِيعَتِي.
12 -And through the same chain of narrators from Ibrahim bin Muhammad Alawi: Narrated to me Tareef Abu Nasr:
“I came to the Master of the time 
and he told me to bring red sandalwood which I did. Then he asked: Do you know me? I said: Yes. He said: Who am I? I said: My master, and the son of my master. He said: I did not ask you this. Tareef said: I said: May I be sacrificed on you, tell me. He said: I am the seal of the successors. And through me will Allah, the Mighty and Sublime ward off calamities from my family and my Shias.”
