حدثنا الحسن بن عبد الله قال: أخبرنا محمد بن أحمد بن حمدان القشيري قال: حدثنا الحسين بن حميد قال: حدثني أخي الحسن بن حميد قال: حدثنا علي بن ثابت الدهان قال: حدثنا سعاد وهو ابن سليمان، عن أبي إسحاق، عن الحارث، عن علي عليه السلام قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله: إني امرء مقبوض وأوشك أن ادعى فأجيب، وقد تركت فيكم الثقلين، أحدهما أفضل من الاخر: كتاب الله عز وجل وعترتي أهل بيتي فإنهما لن يفترقا حتى يردا علي الحوض.
Narrated to us Hasan bin Abdullah: Informed us Muhammad bin Ahmad bin Hamdan Qushairi: Narrated to us Husain bin Hameed: Narrated to me my brother Hasan bin Hameed: Narrated to us Ali bin Thabit Dahhan: Narrated to us Suaad - and he is Ibne Sulaiman - from Abi Ishaq from al-Harith from Ali that he said: The Messenger of Allah (S) said: “Very soon I am going to receive the summons (of death) and I will accept it. Thus I leave among you two heavy things. One of them is superior to the other: the Book of Allah, the Mighty and Sublime, and my progeny, my Ahlul Bayt. The two shall not separate from each other till they reach me at the Pool.”
