Ibn Mahbub narrated from Abu Jameelah from Aban ibn Taghlib from Abu Abdullah Imam Jafar ibn Muhammad Al-Sadiq عليه السلام who said: "For the lower lip, the compensation is six thousand (dirhams), and for the upper lip, it is four thousand (dirhams) because the lower lip holds water."
