Hadith.4948 - Ibn Abi Umayr narrated from Isma'il ibn Salim, who reported from Abu Abdillah that a man asked him:
"May Allah (swt) rectify you, is drinking alcohol worse or abandoning prayer?"
Imam
replied: "Drinking alcohol."
Then Imam
said: "Do you know why that is?"
The man replied: "No."
Imam
said: "Because it leads a person to a state where he no longer recognizes his Lord (azj), the Mighty and Majestic."
