Hadith #29

4927 - : وَ ذُكِرَ اَلنِّسَاءُ عِنْدَ أَبِي اَلْحَسَنِ عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ فَقَالَ "لاَ يَنْبَغِي لِلْمَرْأَةِ أَنْ تَمْشِيَ فِي وَسَطِ اَلطَّرِيقِ وَ لَكِنَّهَا تَمْشِي إِلَى جَانِبِ اَلْحَائِطِ".

Hadith.4927 - Women were mentioned in the presence of Abu al-Hasan , and Imam said: "It is not appropriate for a woman to walk in the middle of the road; rather, she should walk along the side of the wall."
