Chapter on the State of believers' Children Who Pass Away

Hadith #5

4735 - : وَ سَأَلَهُ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ رَسُولِ اَللَّهِ صَلَّى اَللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَ آلِهِ لَوْ بَقِيَ كَانَ صِدِّيقاً نَبِيّاً قَالَ "لَوْ بَقِيَ كَانَ عَلَى مِنْهَاجِ أَبِيهِ صَلَوَاتُ اَللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ ".

Hadith.4735 - Jameel ibn Darraj asked Abu Abdullah about Ibrahim, the son of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him and his family), whether he would have been a truthful prophet (ṣiddiq nabi) if he had lived. Imam replied: "If he had lived, he would have followed the path of his father (peace and blessings be upon him)."
