Hadith #20

4729 - وَ سَأَلَ عَلِيُّ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ أَخَاهُ مُوسَى بْنَ جَعْفَرٍ عَلَيْهِمَا اَلسَّلاَمُ عَنْ مَوْلُودٍ لَمْ يُحْلَقْ رَأْسُهُ يَوْمَ اَلسَّابِعِ فَقَالَ "إِذَا مَضَى سَبْعَةُ أَيَّامٍ فَلَيْسَ عَلَيْهِ حَلْقٌ".

Hadith.4729 - Ali ibn Ja'far asked his brother Imam Musa ibn Jafar Al-Kadhim about a newborn whose head was not shaved on the seventh day. Imam replied: "If seven days have passed, then shaving the head is no longer required."
