Hadith #24
وَ قَالَ أَمِيرُ اَلْمُؤْمِنِينَ عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ:
"اِبْدَءُوا بِالْمِلْحِ فِي أَوَّلِ اَلطَّعَامِ فَلَوْ عَلِمَ اَلنَّاسُ مَا فِي اَلْمِلْحِ لاَخْتَارُوهُ عَلَى اَلتِّرْيَاقِ اَلْمُجَرَّبِ".
Commander of the Faithful
عليه السلام
said:
"Begin with salt at the start of the meal, for if people knew what is in salt, they would prefer it over the tried remedy."
