Amr ibn Shimr narrated from Jabir, from Abu Ja'far Imam Muhammad ibn Ali Al-Baqir عليه السلام, from his father, from his grandfather, from Imam Ali ibn Abi Talib عليه السلام: He ruled in a case where two men disputed over a reed fence (khuss). Imam Ali ibn Abi Talib عليه السلام said: "The fence belongs to the one to whom the boundary rope (al-qimat) is attached."
