Chapter on the Rights of the Animal Upon Its Owner

Hadith #2

2466 - وَ سَأَلَ رَجُلٌ أَبَا عَبْدِ اَللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ : مَتَى أَضْرِبُ دَابَّتِي تَحْتِي قَالَ «إِذَا لَمْ تَمْشِ تَحْتَكَ كَمَشْيِهَا إِلَى مِذْوَدِهَا».

Hadith.2466 - A man asked Abu Abdullah : "When is it permissible for me to strike the animal I am riding?" Imam replied: "When it does not walk under you as it would walk toward its feeding trough."
