Ali ibn Ja'far asked his brother Imam Musa ibn Jafar Al-Kadhim عليه السلام about a sacrificial animal: if the one slaughtering it mistakenly mentions a name other than its owner, does it suffice for the owner of the sacrifice? Imam عليه السلام replied: "Yes, it is for the one who intended it."
