Abd al-Rahman ibn al-Hajjaj reported from Abu Abdullah Imam Jafar ibn Muhammad Al-Sadiq عليه السلام who said: "There is no Zakat on animals kept for personal consumption, on young animals raised for two years, on milking sheep, or on breeding rams."
