Hadith.1404 - Imam Muhammad ibn Ali Al-Baqir عليه السلام said: "The Qunoot (supplication during prayer) on the Day of Jumu’ah consists of glorifying Allah سبحانه وتعالى, sending blessings upon the Prophet of Allah سبحانه وتعالى, and words of relief (Kalimatu-l-Faraj)”.
In the Qunoot of Witr prayer, say as you do on Jumu’ah, and then say before supplicating for yourself :
'O’ Allah سبحانه وتعالى, Your Light has completed and guided, so for You is praise, our Lord عز وجل. You have extended Your Hand and granted, so for You is praise, our Lord عز وجل. Your forbearance has magnified, so You forgave, for You is praise, our Lord عز وجل. Your Face is the most honored of faces, Your direction the best of directions, and Your gifts the finest and most delightful. You are obeyed, our Lord عز وجل, and You are thankful; You are disobeyed, our Lord عز وجل, and You forgive whom You wish. You respond to the distressed, relieve hardship, cure the ill, and save from severe trials. None can fully recompense Your blessings or enumerate Your gifts,
O’ Allah سبحانه وتعالى. To You the eyes have turned, the steps have walked, the necks have been raised, the hands have been lifted, and tongues have called You. And to You belongs their secrets and declarations in deeds.
Our Lord عز وجل, forgive us and have mercy upon us, and decide between us and our people in truth, for You are the best of deciders. O’ Allah سبحانه وتعالى, we complain to You of the absence of our Prophet from among us, the difficulty of the time upon us, the occurrence of trials with us, the intensification of enemies against us, and our few numbers against their many. Grant relief, O’ Lord عز وجل, through a hastened opening from You, a victory You make strong, and a just Imam to whom You show truth, O’ Lord عز وجل of the worlds.'"
Then, say: "I seek Allah’s سبحانه وتعالى forgiveness, my Lord عز وجل, and I repent to Him" seventy times and seek refuge in Allah سبحانه وتعالى often from the Fire.
