The Obligation of the jumu’ah Prayer, Its Virtue, Who is Exempt From it, and the Prayer and Sermon Therein

1241 - وَ رُوِيَ: «أَنَّهُ مَا طَلَعَتِ اَلشَّمْسُ فِي يَوْمٍ أَفْضَلَ مِنْ يَوْمِ اَلْجُمُعَةِ.

Hadith.1241 - It has been narrated: "There is no day on which the sun rises that is better than Jumu’ah."

The day when the Messenger of Allah صلى الله عليه وعلى آله وسلم appointed Amir al-Mu'minin عليه السلام at Ghadir Khom was a Jumu’ah, the appearance of the Qa'im (the awaited savior عليه السلام) will occur on a Jumu’ah, and the Day of Resurrection will also take place on a Jumu’ah, as Allah سبحانه وتعالى the Almighty says: "That is a Day whereon mankind will be gathered together, and that is a Day to be witnessed."
