Hadith.1184 - It has been narrated:
"If it is during the Dhuhr prayer, he should make the first two rak'ahs for Dhuhr and the last two rak'ahs for Asr."
These narrations are not contradictory, and the person praying has the option to follow any of these practices, and it is permissible.
