Hadith.769 - It is narrated that Archangel Jibril, descended upon the Messenger of Allah ﷺ wearing a black cloak and a belt with a dagger. The Prophet ﷺ asked: "O’ Archangel Jibril , what is this attire?" Archangel Jibril replied: "It is the attire of your uncle's descendants, O’ Muhammad. Woe to your progeny from the progeny of your uncle al-Abbas." The Prophet ﷺ then went out to al-Abbas and said: "O’ uncle, woe to my progeny from your progeny." Al-Abbas asked: "O’ Messenger of Allah ﷺ, should I end myself (to prevent this)?" The Prophet replied: "The Pen has decreed what is to come."
