Hadith #719
719 - وَ سُئِلَ: عَنِ اَلْوُقُوفِ عَلَى اَلْمَسَاجِدِ فَقَالَ «لاَ يَجُوزُ فَإِنَّ اَلْمَجُوسَ أَوْقَفُوا عَلَى بُيُوتِ اَلنَّارِ.
Hadith.719 -
Imam
عليه السلام
was asked about endowing property to mosques, and He said: "It is not permissible, for the Magians endowed property for their fire temples”.
