Abd al-Ala, the freedman of Ale Saam, asked Imam Jafar ibn Muhammad Al-Sadiq عليه السلام about the dimensions of the Mosque of the Messenger of Allah صلى الله عليه وعلى آله وسلم. Imam عليه السلام said: "It was three thousand and six hundred cubits, broken up (referring to its measured parts)”.
