Hadith #35
وَ سَمِعَ اَلنَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اَللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَ آلِهِ رَجُلاً يُنْشِدُ ضَالَّةً فِي اَلْمَسْجِدِ فَقَالَ «قُولُوا لَهُ لاَ رَدَّ اَللَّهُ عَلَيْكَ ضَالَّتَكَ فَإِنَّهَا لِغَيْرِ هَذَا بُنِيَتْ.
The Prophet
صلى الله عليه وعلى آله وسلم
, heard a man searching for a lost item in the mosque and said: "Say to him, 'May Allah

not return your lost item to you,' for the mosque was not built for this purpose."
