Hadith.65 - It was narrated that Abu Al-Hasan Imam Ali ibn Musa Ar-Ridha عليه السلام would awaken from his sleep, perform ablution, and not perform istinja.
He expressed astonishment at a man whom he referred to, saying, "I have heard that when he passes gas, he performs istinja."
