57 - وَ سَأَلَ عُمَرُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ أَبَا عَبْدِ اَللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ عَنِ اَلتَّسْبِيحِ فِي اَلْمَخْرَجِ وَ قِرَاءَةِ اَلْقُرْآنِ فَقَالَ «لَمْ يُرَخَّصْ فِي اَلْكَنِيفِ أَكْثَرَ مِنْ آيَةِ اَلْكُرْسِيِّ وَ يَحْمَدَ اَللَّهَ أَوْ آيَةِ «اَلْحَمْدُ لِلّٰهِ رَبِّ اَلْعٰالَمِينَ.
Hadith.57 - Omar ibn Yazid asked Imam Jafar ibn Muhammad Al-Sadiq about the recitation of supplications in the restroom and reading the Qur'an.
Imam
said: "It is not permitted to recite more than the Ayat al-Kursi or to praise Allah (swt) (by saying) 'All praise is due to Allah (swt), the Lord (azj) of the worlds' while in the restroom."
