Hadith.585 - Ammar al-Sabati narrated from Imam Jafar ibn Muhammad Al-Sadiq عليه السلام:
Imam عليه السلام said: “If you wash the head and beard of the deceased with khatmi (a type of plant-based soap), there is no issue."
He mentioned this in a long narration describing the washing of the deceased.
