Hadith.459 - Imam Jafar ibn Muhammad Al-Sadiq عليه السلام said: "Whoever takes hold of the handles of the bier, Allah سبحانه وتعالى will forgive twenty-five major sins for them. And if they carry it on all four sides, they will be cleansed of their sins."
