Hadith #174
174 - وَ رُوِيَ:
«أَنَّ مَنْ قَتَلَ وَزَغاً فَعَلَيْهِ اَلْغُسْلُ.
Hadith.174 – It is narrated: 'Whoever kills a gecko (lizard) must perform ghusl (ritual bathing).'.

Some of our scholars have said that the reason for this is that by doing so, he is cleansed of his sins and thus performs ghusl.
