16.Ibrāhīm ibn Abī al-Bilād narrated from ʿAbdullāh ibn al-Walīd al- Waṣṣāfī, from Abū Jaʿfar who said,

“Kindness [to parents] increases one’s lifespan and charity given secretly calms the Lord’s wrath.”
