14.Al-Qāsim narrated from ʿAbd al-Ṣamad ibn Bashīr, from Muʿāwiyah who said, “Abū ʿAbdillāh عليه السلام said to me, ‘Verily keeping ties with near relatives makes the accounting easier on the Day of Judgment. Then he recited [the verse]: They maintain the ties that Allah has ordered to be maintained, stand in awe of their Lord, and fear the harshness of [strict] reckoning (Q13:21).’”
