والاقرار بأن الاسلام هو الاقرار بالشهادتين، والايمان هو إقرار باللسان، وعقد بالقلب، وعمل بالجوارح، لا يكون الايمان إلا هكذا، ومن شهد الشهادتين فقد حقن ماله ودمه إلا بحقهما، وحسابه على الله عزوجل، والاقرار بالمسألة في القبر حين يدفن الميت، وبمنكر ونكير، وبعذاب القبر، والاقرار بخلق الجنة والنار، وبمعراج النبي (صلى الله عليه وآله) إلى السماء السابعة، ومنها إلى سدرة المنتهى، ومنها إلى حجب النور، وبمناجاة الله عزوجل إياه، وأنه عرج به بجسمه وروحه على الصحة والحقيقة لا على الرؤيا في المنام، وأن ذلك لم يكن لان الله عزوجل في مكان هناك، لانه معتال عن المكان، ولكنه عز وجل عرج به (صلى الله عليه وآله) تشريفا له، وتعظيما لمنزلته، وليريه ملكوت السماوات كما أراه ملكوت الارض، ويشاهد ما فيها من عظمة الله عز وجل، وليخبر أمته بما شاهد في العلو من الآيات والعلامات، والاقرار بالحوض والشفاعة للمذنبين من أصحاب الكبائر، والاقرار بالصراط والحساب والميزان واللوح والقلم والعرش والكرسي.
It is the confirmation that Islam is the confirmation of the two testimonies. Faith (al-iman) is confirmation by the tongue, agreement by the heart, and action by the limbs. Faith is not but as this. Whoever testifies to the two testimonies, then his property and his blood is spared unless by their right, and his reckoning is upon Allah. It is the confirmation of the questioning in the grave when the deceased is buried, and of Munkir and Nakir, and of the punishment of the grave, and confirmation of the creation of Paradise and the Fire. [It is the confirmation of] the ascension (al-mi`raj) of the Prophet (s) to the seventh heaven, and from it to the Lote Tree of the Furthest Boundary (sidrat al-muntaha), and from it to the veils of light, and of the conversation with Allah [alone]. He ascended with his body and his spirit in soundness and reality, not in a vision in sleep. That is not because Allah is in a location there, for He is exalted above being in a location, rather He ascended him (s) out of honour to him, and out of extolling of his rank, to show him the kingdom of the heavens as He had shown him the kingdom of the Earth, and that he witness what is in it of the might of Allah, and so that he may inform his Nation of what witnessed in the highness of the signs and evidences. It is the confirmation of the Pond (al-hawd), and intercession (ash-shafa`a) for the sinners from the possessors of major sins. It is the confirmation of the Path (as-sirat), and the Judgment, and the Scale, and the Tablet, and the Pen, and the Throne (al-`arsh), and the Seat (al-kursi).
