Muhammad b. al-Hasan b. Ahmad b. al-Walid narrated to us. He said: Muhammad b. al-Hasan al-Saffar narrated to us from Muhammad b. `Isa b. `Ubayd from `Ubaydullah b. `Abdullah al-Dahqan from Darast b. Abi Mansur from `Abdullah b. Sinan. He said: Al-Sadiq Ja`far b. Muhammad said:

Do not use basil twigs nor pomegranate twigs as toothpicks, for they irritate the vein of leprosy.
