Ahmad b. Muhammad b. Yahya al-`Attar narrated to us. He said: My father narrated to us from Ahmad b. Muhammad b. `Isa from his father from Safwan b. Yahya from al-`Is b. al-Qasim. He said: I said to al-Sadiq Ja`far b. Muhammad : A hadith is attributed to your father, and it says:

“The Messenger of Allah (s) was never filled (satiated) with wheat bread.” Is this correct? So, he said: No. The Messenger of Allah (s) never ate from wheat bread, and he was never filled with barley bread.
