Muhammad b. Ibrahim b. Ishaq narrated to us. He said: Ahmad b. Muhammad al-Hamadani narrated to us. He said: `Ali b. al-Husayn b. `Ali b. Faddal informed us from his father. He said: I heard `Ali b. Musa al-Rida say:

Whoever seeks the forgiveness of Allah seventy times in Sha`ban, Allah will forgive his sins, even if they were similar in number to the stars.
