Hamza b. Muhammad b. Ahmad b. Ja`far b. Muhammad b. Zayd b. `Ali b. al-Husayn b. `Ali b. Abi Talib narrated to us. He said: Abu’l Hasan `Ali b. Muhammad al-Bazzaz informed me. He said: Abu Ahmad Dawud b. Sulayman al-Farra’ narrated to us. He said: `Ali b. Musa al-Rida narrated to me from his father Musa b. Ja`far. He said: My father Ja`far b. Muhammad al-Sadiq narrated to me. He said: My father Muhammad b. `Ali al-Baqir narrated to me. He said: My father `Ali b. al-Husayn Zayn al-`Abidin narrated to me. He said: My father al-Husayn b. `Ali narrated to me. He said: My father Amir al-Mu’minin narrated to me. He said:

The Messenger of Allah (s) said: Faith is declaration with the tongue, recognition with the heart, and implementation with the limbs. Hamza b. Muhammad said: I heard `Abd al-Rahman b. Abi Hatim say: I heard my father say: This hadith was narrated by Abi’l Salt al-Harawi from `Ali b. Musa al-Rida with a similar isnad. Abu Hatim said: If this isnad were to be recited over the insane, he would have been cured.
