Ahmad b. Ziyad b. Ja`far al-Hamadani narrated to us. He said: `Ali b. Ibrahim b. Hashim narrated to us. He said: Ja`far b. Salama al-Azhari narrated to us from Ibrahim b. Muhammad al-Thaqafi. He said: al-`Abbas b. Bakkar narrated to us. He said:

`Abd al-Wahid b. Abi `Amr narrated to us from al-Kalbi from Abi Salih from Abi Hurayra from the Messenger of Allah (s). He said: On the Throne, it is written: “I am Allah. There is no god but Me. I am Alone without any partners. Muhammad is My Servant and My Messenger, and I have aided him with `Ali.” So, Allah revealed, “It is He who supported you with His help and with the believers.” (8:62) The “help” is `Ali , who [also] entered among the believers; so, he is on both sides together.
