2. We were told by my father, may Allah grant him mercy, that he said: We were told by Abdullah bin Ja’far al-Himyari, from Ahmad bin Muhammed bin Khalid, from Uthman bin Isa, from an old man from the people of Medina, that he said: I asked Abu Abdillah, peace be upon him, about a man who drinks and does not stop until he is satisfied.

He said: Is satisfaction but that? I said: They say that it is (like) the drinking of thirsty cattle? He said: They have lied. The drinking of thirsty cattle is only that which the Name of Allah, Exalted and Glorious is He, has not been mentioned upon.
