2. My father, may Allah grant him mercy, said: We were told by Muhammed bin Yahya al-‘Attar, from Muhammed bin Ahmad bin Yahya ibn Imran al-Asha’ari, with his chain of narrators that is mentioned in his compilation, which he ascribed to Abu Abdillah, peace be upon him, that he said:

The defrauded is the one who is defrauded of his age, hour after hour.
