5. With this chain of narrators, from Ahmad bin Muhammed, from Ali bin Hafs al-Jawhari, whose title is al-Qurashi, from a man from the Kufis of our companions, who is called Ibrahim, that he said: Hasan, peace be upon him, was asked about manliness, so he said:

Chasteness with regards to religion, good dealing with regards to livelihood and patience during misfortunes.
