13. All of my scholars including my father and my brother narrated to me from Aḥmad ibn Idrīs, from Muḥammad ibn Aḥmad, from Muḥammad ibn Ḥusain, from Muḥammad ibn ‘Ali, from Abī Sa’īd Al-‘Usfuri, from Abil Miqdām ‘Amr ibn Thābit, from his father, who said: Abū Ja’far (Imam Bāqir ) said: Allāh, the Exalted, created, blessed, and sanctified Karbalā twenty-four thousand years before He created the Ka’bah. Therefore, it was blessed and sanctified before the creation of any created being and it will remain this way. And Allāh will make it the best land in Paradise. It will be the best abode in Paradise in which Allāh will make His friends abide. The above Ḥadīth has also been narrated to me through the following chain: My father, my brother and ‘Ali ibn Ḥusain, from ‘Ali ibn Ibrāhīm ibn Hāshim, from his father, from Muḥammad ibn ‘Ali, from Abī Sa’īd ‘Abbād Al-‘Usfuri, from Abil Miqdām ‘Amr ibn Thābit, from his father, from Abī Ja’far .
